101 Must See Films

Take 2: The Besson Collection

I’ve found in recent times that I’m drawn to films without necessarily knowing who they’re directed by. Interestingly, I’ve discovered after the fact that I appear to have a penchant for Luc Besson films. The following list attests to this and 5 of these titles are currently snuggled together on my DVD shelf.

Here are your 8 films to start the new year off with a bit of a bang, crash, splat and kaboom. Who says fireworks have to come from China.

La femme Nikitta - if you're a fan of the TV series then this is a must watch because it's where it all began.

Unleashed - martial arts, a piano & braces - just watch it!

The Transporter - martial arts, car chases, kidnap & people trafficking

Transporter 2 - martial arts, car chases & kidnap

Transporter 3 - martial arts, kaboom, car chases & eye candy for the ladies

The 5th element - Scifi Action in spades

Leon - my all time favourite assassin movie, ever!

Lockout - Scifi action with a favourite actor - Guy Pearce

Why does this happen?  I pondered  So I G o o g l e d it. Because:  a) the laptop is in the next room  b) it can be accessed even with one hand still wrapped around a cup of tea and c) I think a trip to the library for this sort of diversionary tactic is a little excessive And discovered an actual syndrome called Photic Sneeze Reflex .  18 - 35% of hu

Zoo Nation: the animals speak out!

Finally it’s here. The poetry collection which my Sheffield bestie Bev Cross and I have been promising you. Sincere apologies for the delay. That has been down to me entirely as I was in charge of the final edit and only just recently got my act together. A huge thank you to our ART team for helping us make this collection reader ready. Your support is invaluable and immeasurable. £1 from the sale of each book will go to our respective animal charities. Bev’s Sheffield based chosen charity is cat-CHING . Follow them on Facebook  or Instagram to see the incredible work they are doing. Also, click on his image and take a moment to meet BBIII (aka Beaumont Barrington the Third), recently rehomed and now settled in the Fulwood area of Sheffield. Bev chose this charity because she admires the selfless work of the two women running it in their spare time. BBIII My chosen charity is Ebony Horse Club which is based in Brixton.
